Why biomass heating

Three reasons it makes sense.

  • Efficiency

Modern pellet appliances extract far more usable heat per kilogram of fuel than an open fire or an older solid-fuel stove.

  • Cost

Pellets are produced from wood-processing residues, and their price is not tied to the oil and gas markets.

  • Emissions

Burning residue biomass releases carbon that the same growth cycle reabsorbs, unlike fossil heating fuels.

Product families

Four families, engineered for different homes.

  • Air pellet stoves

Room-heating stoves that circulate warm air directly into the living space.

  • Hydro / boiler stoves

Stoves that also heat water for radiators or a domestic hot water circuit.

  • Ducted stoves

Canalizzata models that duct warm air into adjoining rooms.

  • Inserts & fireplaces

Built-in units that convert an existing fireplace opening.

The range

Six models. Two editions.

Every THERMOLUX pellet stove is built around the same combustion platform and control system. Choose the output your home needs, then the cabinet that suits the room.

Inside the stove

Anatomy and operation.

Pellets travel from the hopper to the burn pot on an auger, ignite automatically, and give up their heat through an exchanger before the fan sends it into the room. Six stages, all of them automatic.

Anatomy and operation. by THERMOLUX
  1. Fuel feeding

Pellets are fed automatically from the hopper to the burn pot.

  2. Automatic ignition

The ignition system lights the pellets quickly and safely.

  3. Combustion

Clean, efficient combustion generates heat with minimal emissions.

  4. Heat exchange

Heat is transferred through the exchanger for maximum efficiency.

  5. Warm air distribution

Warm air is distributed silently and evenly through the room.

  6. Exhaust and ash

Gases are expelled safely through the flue and ash collects in the drawer.

Flue & installation

A complete flue kit.

Twelve components, rated to 400 °C, in corrosion-resistant steel with leak-proof connections. The modular design fits every THERMOLUX pellet stove and is assembled without cutting on site.

  • Programmable operation

Set it to the rhythm of the household and leave it alone.

  • Low emissions

Clean combustion is a design requirement, not an option.

  • Elegant design

An appliance that belongs in a living room, not a basement.

  • Reliability

Built for a heating season that runs without intervention.

Engineered together

LUXORA A1 pellets in a THERMOLUX stove.

The fuel and the appliance come from the same group and are specified against each other. Consistent pellet diameter, low ash and controlled moisture are what keep a stove clean, efficient and running through a full season.
